Parasite Cleanse FAQ:

What is the name of the parasite that latches onto sharks. I know there is a shark parasite called a pilot fish, but I was wondering if there are more. If you know more than one possibility then please list them all.

Lampreys are the only shark parasites that I know. Technically the pilot fish and the remora are not parasites, they are commensal species. Parasites are species that benefit from another animal while causing is harm (i.e. ******* blood). Commensalists benefit from another organism while causing it no harm (pilot fish and remoras snatch little bites of food while the shark is feeding).
