Parasite Eve is a novel written by Hideaki Sena in 1995; published in English in 2005. Then it was adapted to a film in 1997, with the same title. In 1998, Parasite Eve was developed into an RPG by Square. In 1999, Parasite Eve II was also released by Square. “The 3rd Birthday” is the third installment of Parasite Eve developed by Square-Enix due for release sometime in 2009. A two-part manga was released as well entitled: Parasite Eve DIVA, which was never released in the United States.
