Attached to the plants in my aquarium, there are skinny white things with white “tentacles” or strings coming off of them. That’s really the best way I can describe them. This is something I haven’t seen before in any of my tanks.

This is from a forum, i cant help you much, as i only know of dutch aquarium/fish forums, but this one gives a lot of info.

This one’s a better photo, scroll down to “hydra”, and there’s an article there about shrimp and hydra, not a good combo to have in the tank together sounds like…., I know hydra are known to eat fry(baby fish).
