Try going to:
and then look up either “Acute Moist Dermatitis”, “Hot Spots”, “Summer Sores”, “Lick/Scratch Granulation”.
I recommend these to people who do not have much experience treating cats, or who do not want to waste their time reading frivolous answers.
Good luck.
sad you have to ask people not to call you names and be rude huh? i totally understand.
well, it seems your Vet is treating it properly, but may take some time to clear up. does your cat scratch on it? it sounds like a “hot spot” do your best by keeping it dry and clean. and if you feel the need to get a second Vet opinion, do so. it might be a good idea. Good luck!!
