I am writing a 5 page essay for my science class, I have some ideas on how man is a parasite such as killing the ozone layer with the gas from our cars. Please give me some ideas and examples on how we are parasites because I’m going to need to have a lot of ideas and info.

Ever watch the first Matrix movie? The ‘Smith gives this big shpeal about how humans are viruses, and all they do is waste resources, multiply, then move when they run out. Look it up on youtube.
We are killing our host, the earth.
Ocean pollution–did you know that there is a giant island of floating plastic garbage in the Pacific Ocean? It never goes away. It just grows and grows. When a freighter with millions of sports shoes went down, it got larger.
Production peak of oil has passed. There is now less being found and pumped every year. Demand still grows.
They are building a giant set of flood dams to try to save the city of Venice. Some day they will have to do the same thing with New York City. By then, Venice will be lost, as the Mediterranean got too high.
Alternative energy folks say that the only really economical choice is nuclear. But no one can decide what to do with the spent fuel and waste. The burial ground for radioactive junk that we spent five billion dollars creating, Yucca Mountain, will never be used. Now what?
Unemployment rates have risen the last two years. No one is certain when they will go back to 2007 levels, if ever. Shortages of basic minerals and metals will soon cripple a lot of nations’ economies.
As the ocean becomes warmer, it swells in size, and this adds to the flooding caused by Greenland and Antarctica and other places melting. As the ocean warms, the methane ice locked in the depths will melt. This will release more greenhouse gases that will make global warming even worse.

man has put many animals to extinction in less than two hundred years and one classic example is the tasmanian tiger, the last one of its kind lived in zoo until 1930 and died because many felt that it was killing their livestock(which is so over-rated lie because it it not true)
~ the florida and california panther is on the line of going extinct because each year man moves more and more onto their territory causing more hit and runs on the highway and people to say they might or will get hurt
~many more species and UNKNOWN species go extinct each year because they end up being relocated and relocated as man moves to where they are relocated to. Its true the californian panther is struggling
What is going on in the court with the wolf and the wolf should be protected but many pull “they kill thousands of livestock each year” (so not true) even if they did kill livestock that was because the farmer was to lazy and did not take certain precuations to protect their animals. They are not pests and what many people do not realize is they encroach on the animals territories and homes and think that animals have no feelings and think that they are out crusing around waiting to attack people all the time when the animals really want to avoid the two- legged. Man thinks many animals are pests and think they can justify their cause of ridding the world of them never thinking what their actions are doing.
Deforestation in south america the government is taking farmers lands away or the fact when the farmers do the slash and burn and take some of the rain forest down the land has so few nutrients they are lucky if the land can support them for a year or a few months before they have to move on and destroy more land.
Also many places in America are not recycling because the biggest complaint is that it costs to much and smokers are the biggest threat to the environment because if you were to pick up the trash in your neighborhood and the local park your trash bag would be so full and yet so many are ignorant thinking their trash will jump in the nearest trash can on its own. Trash is another reason for man destroying the one home, the one place he can truly call home and yet this is how he treats it. Sea turtles have died from ingesting plastic bags because they thought it was a jelly fish and many animals have been strangled from plastic bags and died from it. 6 Billion people’s trash that is a scary thought of how many landfills have taken land away from animals and people and what we could do with that and no I am not talking about burning it that hurts the ozone. It is just another reason why many is so ignorant and does not realize why global warming is such a threat to rising sea levels and polar bears have become such a controversy in recent politics.
many people learned that areas have a carrying capacity and animals stay well within the carrying capacity and people think that the world population does not have a certain carrying capacity and I believe that with 6 billion + people on the planet have gone beyond what the earth can support and there is not enough arable land to grow enough crops to support the the whole world and even if we distributed the food evenly throught the population many would be malnurished and die of starvation.
