My husband is pretty sick and has seeked medical attention. It was a NATURAL SPRINGS stream …we belly crawled through it to different caverns. If you know of the names of some of these parasites or other hamful bacteria so i can google them. Thanks.

Yes, there are all sorts of molds and fungii down there! You should see a doctor if you are not feeling well.
It’s unlikely, but it really depends on the circumstances. If it’s natural, and came out of the ground right there, probably not. But if it’s a stream or river, that’s a different story. I wouldn’t worry about it unless you start getting stomach cramps or have bad case of the runs. It’s probably not likely, but keep an eye on yourself.
